Restaurant Stellwerk in Ruedesheim am Rhein

An unexpectedly elegant place, a well-preserved historical structure. We were there in September. Quality food and interesting wines, super welcome, the owner very open to dialogue welcomes you with a smile and explains the composition of the dishes. Unfortunately we discovered this place on the last night of our stay in Rudesheim. We keep a good memory, we even exchanged bottles of wine.

As a family, we had already been there several times. It was always great and great. Staff always friendly and nice, food absolutely great. The location outside could be made a little friendlier, but maybe it will ...

Good tapas, great service, nice location and what is very important at the moment, compliance with the corona regulations. It was definitely not our last visit.

We were there with a group of 8 people. We were told that ordering and paying was not possible there individually. It should all be lumped together, paid for by one party, and ultimately offset by ourselves. That is just "typically Spanish" and the boss wants it that way (?). Now you can imagine that this is very complex - as long as everyone makes at least half a dozen tapas and drink orders. Some want to pay in cash at the end, others by card, others are 2 people per party, others 3. One orders a lot, the other not a lot ... It is simply not fair for everyone and just as divisible. In short, we were more concerned with bookkeeping than anything else. In the end, after several inquiries, the boss looked at it sullenly and then individually settled the accounts with each party, but with the friendly message it would be best not to come back. So it might be. The food was only "okay", bread and butter (atypical Spanish?) Are only available for money. Paella by appointment only. The acoustics in the room are strongly echoing and make the other person very difficult to understand. Station atmosphere due to noisy trains, price / volume ratio not good. Because of these facts alone, nobody from our table would have gone there again anyway. We go to restaurants very often, we clearly cannot recommend this one!

The taste of the food was very good, but unfortunately the waiting time was far too long and a total mess with the individual orders. Not recommended for larger groups (9 people), seem overwhelmed. And if you complain politely, you get told that you don't have to come anymore, it's a shame that you treat your guests like that. But there are other good restaurants in Rüdesheim, where you are better served and treated as a guest. We will not recommend the Stellwerk anymore, normally the guest is always king, but unfortunately this was not the case here.

Nice service and the location from the location on the tracks of the long-distance connection aside, quite appealing and nicely renovated. The selection of tapas is manageable and those we have chosen are all delicious. A clear recommendation for those who are not afraid of the noise of the freight trains passing by.

Hola amigos Today I recommend the Stellwerk restaurant in Rüdesheim am Rhein. The family-run tapas bar is a little insider tip - a piece of Spain in the middle of the Rheingau. If you are in the mood for delicious food and good drinks in a great Wilhelmine architectural atmosphere and with appropriate modern equipment, this is the place for you. Cleanliness, friendliness and service are very important here. You will be warmly welcomed. It is also possible to travel by train, as it is located in the building of the train station. So if you want to enjoy a nice and delicious glass of wine, I recommend traveling by train. But if you want to travel by car, you will find parking spaces on site. I hope you feel like it as much as I do and visit the tapas bar soon. Bon appetit.

We went to the signal box in Rüdesheim for the first time at the weekend. A great restaurant !!! Super courteous staff, great and very good food! I can only recommend !!!

Unfortunately, a bit unpleasant "welcome" and observed how guests were treated a bit harshly even though they were helpful. A very unpleasant situation arose. Then left the restaurant without ordering anything. So I can't judge the food.

First of all, I would like to thank the hosts for a wonderful evening. Although we only called at very short notice in advance to reserve a table, we were able to do so and a culinary excursion to Spain could begin. Starting with very friendly and qualified staff to an excellent tapas kitchen. There was really nothing missing here. The explanation of the individual tapas was just great and so you could find the right dishes for you. The only thing that bothered us a bit were the trains that drove by now and then. but that shouldn't prevent anyone from visiting this excellent Spanish restaurant. I will gladly come again :))

Geheimtipp am Rüdesheimer Bahnhof. What you do not expect at all, is a lovely tapasbar. All the trains running by right along the Rhine add something special. Top!!

Just had drinks, but staff was attentive and interior was well appointed. Wine list was very good but prices are a bit high.

From ambience to prices, Stellwerk is an excellent choice. First class food and innovative cocktails. The restaurant is always well visited, you should reserve a day in advance. The food, taste and quantity are very good. The service is also very friendly and nice.

Really good value for money. Great food and service. Although giving 5 stars I must say that the music was a tad loud... Other than that, gotta go there.
